FAQ
What's the difference from other blades?
Our clipper blades are heavily modified from the base of the blade to the edge of the teeth. Beginning with production, our experienced craftsmen use the best high-carbon steel, prisma coatings, zirconia and alumina ceramic formulas to produce a more effective blade.
We use a factory designed Industrial Lapping machine with a signature hollow ground sharpening process to ensure quality and performance.
How long do they stay sharp?
Up to 10 months (3-4 months longer than standard blades.)
Why ceramic cutting blades?
We use zirconia and alumina ceramic cutting blades because they stay sharper longer, resist corrosion, and generate less heat when compared to regular steel blades. This means smoother cuts, extended blade life, and a cooler, more comfortable experience for both the barber and client.
What's the difference between Zirconia-ceramic and Alumina-ceramic?
Zirconia Ceramic: Known for its durability and resistance to chipping, zirconia ceramic blades are extremely tough and maintain sharpness over long periods. They’re ideal if you prioritize blade longevity and work with various hair types, as they can handle heavier-duty cutting tasks without dulling quickly. Zirconia also generates less heat, which is a bonus for extended use.
Alumina Ceramic: Alumina ceramic is slightly more brittle but offers excellent sharpness and a smoother, more precise cut. It’s a great choice if you’re focused on ultra-detailed fading and polishing work. Alumina ceramic blades are also lightweight and work well for finer hair types or precision-focused cuts.
